ECDS Strengthens Executive Team to Focus on Communications Enabled Business Process (CEBP) Market
June 15, 2009 — ECDS, LLC today announced that John Racioppi has been appointed President
and Chief Executive Officer and Mike Gionfriddo has been appointed Chief Technology Officer. These executive appointments strengthen the
ECDS management team as the company focuses on providing the next generation multi-mode, multi-directional communications solutions to
power enterprise Communications Enabled Business Processes (CEBP).
As President and CEO, John Racioppi will be responsible for expanding and developing the opportunity for ECDS technologies and products
as enablers of CEBP. Mr. Racioppi has successfully grown both start-up and publicly traded companies. Most recently, John served as
General Manager of the data leak prevention group and Vice President, enterprise business operations at security vendor Trend Micro,
leading long-term enterprise business strategy. Previously, he held executive positions in sales, business development and operations
at Infravio, Rogue Wave Software, Borland Software, DASCOM (acquired by IBM) and Transarc Corporation (acquired by IBM). John earned
a BA in economics and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
Mr. Racioppi explained his reasoning for joining ECDS. “This is an exciting time for ECDS, and I am extremely pleased to have
the opportunity to lead the ECDS team. As the need for immediate, interactive communication grows, so does the requirement for a flexible,
open messaging platform which can easily integrate with enterprise applications and business processes. ecENACT enables organizations to

systems integrators, developers, and VAR’s who need the power and ease of integration ecENACT provides.”
As CTO, Mike Gionfrido will drive the company’s technology vision to enhance the ecENACT platform with a specific focus on enabling
seamless integration with Web 2.0 and mobile applications. Mr. Gionfriddo recently served as CTO for Sun Microsystems rich Internet
application platform, JavaFX. While at Sun, he also served as Chief Architect for the Java CAPS and Sun Connection Network product lines
and was awarded the title of Distinguished Engineer. Previously, Mike held technology development and management positions at Rogue Wave
Software, EdeNet Communications and Lutris Technologies. An accomplished speaker and author, Mike has been published over 30 times and
he holds 19 patents. Mike received his BS in mathematics with computer science from Carnegie–Mellon University.
